Concept
"Where Shopping Brings Out Your Smile"
This pop-up offers people the opportunity to engage with Instacart in a fun, interactive way that aligns with their lifestyle and needs.
Experience

Pre-Event & Awareness
Carrot-shaped markers around Pittsburgh prompt app downloads. A pop-up widget allows users to register for a customized experience.

Arrival & Booth Exploration
Upon arrival, visitors encounter photo-friendly pods filled with large props that encourage interaction and capture the expanded Instacart range.



Photo Capturing & AR Experience
Fun photo setups with AR overlays reveal exclusive discounts, enhancing each photo with digital Instacart product details.
Other themed booths include a Food Booth and Home Essentials Booth with giant props.all booths create hands-on experiences.



End Experience
Visitors redeem tokens for discounts in-app, with bonus rewards for those sharing on social media, extending engagement beyond the event.
KPIs
Measures of success include app downloads, token redemptions, visitor feedback, and social media impressions.

What I learnt
The Instacart project taught me how to translate brand values into immersive, interactive experiences that balance convenience, accessibility, and engagement. I learned to design frictionless interactions, integrate physical and digital elements seamlessly, and craft a cohesive narrative that enhances brand perception.
